India's mixed doubles pair- Rohan Kapoor and Sikki Reddy achieve their career best ranking
Rohan and Sikki have inched closer to the elite level of the doubles circuit by breaking into the top 32 bracket. "Our target is to break into the top 32 of the world ranking by accumulating ranking points as it will help us play in BWF World Tour Super 750 and 1000 tournaments," Sikki mentioned earlier this year.
This being an Olympic qualification year also spells success for the duo if they manage to consistently participate in big-ticket tournaments by maintaining their ranking.
The Indian mixed doubles pair of N. Sikki Reddy and Rohan Kapoor lived up to the billing and continued their winning ways by clinching the title in the Victor Denmark Masters Badminton Championship.
Sikki, the 29-year-old veteran in the badminton circuit, has revealed her mantra of athleticism and perseverance as the shuttler’s foray into the mixed doubles category along with the 25-year-old Rohan has yielded rich results.
