Cristiano Ronaldo leads Al Nassr to Arab Club Champions Cup semis

Ronaldo scored his third goal of the season to set Al Nassr on their way to a 3-1 victory over Moroccan outfit Raja Club Athletic in the quarter-finals of the Arab Club Champions Cup on Sunday.

The 38-year-old smashed home emphatically with his left foot from 17 yards to give Al Nassr the lead in the 19th minute. Sultan Al-Ghannam then doubled the Saudi side's advantage 10 minutes later with a fine low finish after determinedly chasing down a long ball.

It was soon 3-0 when Ivory Coast international Seko Fofana scored his first goal for Al Nassr following a fine cross from former Manchester United fullback Alex Telles.

Raja pulled a goal back before half-time when Abdullah Madu inadvertently deflected the ball into his own net after trying to intercept a cross. Cristiano Ronaldo is potentially just two wins away from lifting his first trophy as Al Nassr captain.
